Charity Auction: WHO WANTS A JERSEY?!?

By fantasyjester

Central Fl- Who wants a jersey?

Not just any jersey either!!!

For those that may be new, welcome!

We believe that sports can be fun.

We believe, sports talk can be positive.

We believe, we can use this platform to help children.

In the past, we have held auctions for signed memorabilia, with proceeds to Make-A-Wish. I myself, have taken to the wrestling ring and taken a beating with a steel chair to gain awareness to help a teen that was losing his sight. The FDA didn’t care, in their eyes, he was 16 and not the eligible age of 18. Imagine being his parents as he is losing his sight. A year to get treatment…or permanent blindness. (The follow up is we helped at our end to gain awareness. Through a petition, the FDA changed its mind. Gary, is successfully in the middle of the program. He has regained partial sight.)

Now, our interests are to have regular auctions to help children. We have decided that these auctions will be for Make-A-Wish and done on the EBAY site.

We want to make one thing perfectly clear….

100% of all proceeds will be going to the charity!!!

One of the notes that need to be mentioned about this jersey. The Tampa Bay Lightning are a fantastic model of a team that cares about it’s community. A big kudos and and thank you to them for the donation!

Hockey Fans….next auction for you folks will switch from a jersey…to signed pucks from Jersey…the New Jersey Devils, Ken Daneyko was his usual willing self to help with some signed pucks. With two gone, we still have two more to go!!

Baseball fans…we have some signed baseballs coming!!

Football fans…after tonight’s show (5/26)…I’m guessing we will have a signed football or two for you in the near future!!

My personal note to all that participate:

With a moniker like Jester, you really don’t spend a lot of time being serious. I am like this, because I learned at an early age, life can get very serious all on it’s own without my help. Bringing smiles to myself is one thing. The joy of being Jester, or one of them, is bringing smiles to peoples faces. The other joy of being Jester, helping children…as many as I can….in anyway. The one time, you can count on me being serious. With that, please know that I am serious when I say thank you…you are all appreciated.
